The Visual Research Confernce focuses on anthropological and anthropologically-related approaches to the study of visual signification, visual communication and visual forms of representation. Visual case material (often including photos, film, multimedia, or polymedia, or gestural, facial expression, artistic, or dance examples), visual research methodogies, and visual-friendly theoretical formulations and interpretations are explored through a multiplicity of formal and informal discussions. These interactions then continue at lunch and dinner together. All who are interested in these kinds of topics are welcome to attend and to contribute to ,mthe very robust discussions.
