This session will educate the audience on the benefits of youth strength training, the difference between strength training and Olympic weightlifting, dispel some common myths associated with strength training, review the essential components of an age-appropriate program and discuss specific populations that might benefit or be harmed by strength training. The session will conclude with a question and answer session with the audience.
