Take Evaluation ViewAbstracts

Pediatricians frequently encounter infants and children with histories of adverse and possibly allergic reactions to foods, antibiotics and other medications, insect stings, and vaccines. Many times, these patients are labeled as “allergic” without sufficient diagnostic workup. The clinical history is critical in evaluating these reactions, but additional testing and referral may be appropriate. Faculty will discuss how best to address these issues in the pediatric office.
