In the past decade, pediatric urologists have become aware of the important impact of bowel function, specifically constipation, on common pediatric urology problems. Treatment of constipation has become a cornerstone in managing urinary tract infection, vesicoureteral reflux, and wetting. Faculty will present the relationship between bowel and bladder dysfunction, diagnosis of constipation, management, and the struggle with compliance.
