This case-based session will address the interaction between obesity prevention and eating disorders in teens. It will stress the fact that obesity prevention, if done correctly, should not predispose to eating disorders. Faculty will provide office-based, evidence-informed tools to identify behaviors that predispose to both obesity and eating disorders and to provide guidance to parents on how to interpret both obesity and eating disorders prevention messages for their growing children.
