Attaining national recognitions in quality assurance related to the medical home (eg, National Committee for Quality Assurance) is a challenging process. There is a wealth of experience within the Department of Defense and some civilian facilities, varying in size from small clinics to large graduate medical education institutions, that can be shared with any practice going through the recognition process for "medical homeness." Experts walk through some of the major issues in this interactive forum.
