Take Evaluation ViewAbstracts

Fractures in young children may be caused by abusive or accidental means. It also is possible the child has an underlying disease process contributing to the injuries. Misdiagnosis of the precipitating cause may have disastrous results for the child and/or family. The pediatrician has an important role in the appropriate medical evaluation of possible abuse. Faculty will review these issues and provide insight on how to manage these concerns.
