This session will focus on popular misconceptions of otitis media management and review the best evidence regarding management. Faculty will review the need for oral antibiotics for acute otitis media, best practice management of the draining ear, indication for ear tubes, and the relationship between middle ear fluid and behavioral/cognitive prognosis.
