The session will begin with an introduction of the pediatrician’s role regarding advocacy and evidence-based public policy with examples of effective strategies. A panel discussion by pediatricians experienced in child death review (CDR) processes and the creation of prevention interventions from CDR findings will share their success stories and challenges and answer participant questions. During the second half of the session, participants will engage in an interactive discussion on developing prevention strategies from CDR findings and will create their own prevention recommendations based on case studies.
