SLP leaders from Boston Medical Center are breaking down health equity barriers. One initiative is to translate dysphagia materials, including instructions for thickening breast milk and formula, and make them accessible in the 5 most commonly used languages in the United States, which are English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, Portuguese and Vietnamese. Funding for the development of the materials was provided by the Boston Medical Center Quality and Patient Safety Grant (https://lnkd.in/eaab6ssi).
