The first European Style Organic Infant Formula that meets FDA standards. Founded by moms in the U.S.

About us

Bobbie is the first and only mom-founded and women-led infant formula company in the U.S. Our European-style recipe meets all FDA requirements, is made with pasture-raised milk from Organic Valley farms, and is the only infant formula to receive both the Clean Label Project’s Purity Award and Pesticide Free Certification. Bobbie is working to shake the stigma and evolve the conversation around how you feed your baby to one of confidence, not comparison, from how we feed to what we feed. We lost sleep over this so you don't have to.

✔️Problem solving ✔️Time management ✔️Team-building Skills you need as a mom 🤝 Skills you need as a business leader There’s a pervasive myth in our society that being a working mom can limit your ability to show up for your kids. The truth is, our careers teach us so many skills that make us better parents—like how to build a support team, find creative solutions to problems, and maintain your cool when challenges arise. In honor of #MothersDay, you’re invited to a special conversation between two moms who built companies while building their families: Kate Ryder, Founder & CEO of Maven Clinic, and our very own Laura Modi, Co-Founder & CEO of Bobbie. Kate and Laura will discuss how being mothers influences the way they lead their teams—and how the way they lead informs how they show up as parents. Spots are limited! Have you ever pumped on a work trip? For pumping moms, that first work trip can be overwhelming. On top of all the emotions that come with leaving your baby for the first time, many of us are left figuring out what to do with our bags of breastmilk. Before she ran marketing for Bobbie, our Chief of Brand Kim Chappell found herself frantically Googling how to travel with breastmilk back in 2017. She discovered Milk Stork, a company that helps working parents get their breastmilk where it needs to go. She mustered up the courage to ask her employer to cover the cost of the service and to her surprise—they happily agreed! So it’s no surprise that she was a big advocate to make Free Milk Stork services an employee benefit at Bobbie. As a team of majority parents, some of whom are exclusively breastfeeding, we’re damn proud to help our team make sure their babies are nourished in the way they choose to nourish them. 💚 Read the email she sent and the reply she received on Medium: https://lnkd.in/eQZpq9KU

Society often comes up short when it comes to working mothers. Our very own Laura Modi (Bobbie) and Jessica Chang (Upwards), joined Julia Boorstin on stage at the #CNBCChangemakers (CNBC Events) event earlier this month to speak to their personal experiences founding businesses to help theirs' and others' families and address shortcomings in the market. They discuss: 📌 Leadership as working moms 📌 Navigating entrepreneurship & raising money, while pregnant, in a room full of men 📌 Defying expectations and beating the odds Watch the full conversation here: https://lnkd.in/ewFBkw_6

Mother | Chief Brand Officer at Bobbie | Fast Co Brands That Matter 2023

What does a 3.5 year old baby formula company have in common with iconic brands like Pixar Animation Studios, Merriam-Webster Inc., and Adobe?? We're all nominated for a Shorty Awards for "Best Instagram Presence!" To me, this is HUGE. It's the recognition that our work at Bobbie is bold, disruptive, supportive, and educational. It's proof that we are resetting what it means to for a mom-founded and led company to lead the conversation in our industry and bring our community along for the ride. And it's a massive testament to our small but might social team, one of which is about to have her second baby and day now! Amazing work Shakivla Todd, Angela Hanks, Maeher Bawa and Paige J.! 💁🏾♀️🤰🏻🙋🏽♀️ 🙎🏾♀️ So proud of you all! Please click here and help our team of hardworking hustling women win this one! 🏆 🎁 If you let me know you voted-- I'll pick a few of you in comments and send you a Bobbie sweatshirt and hat! 💚

It's been two years since the infant formula crisis. If you had a formula-fed baby during that time, you know why we're still talking about it today 💯 The shortage may be over, but the problems that caused it have yet to be solved. For the nearly 83% of babies who rely on some type of formula in their first year of life, it's time to do something about it. So we are. Bobbie CEO, Co-Founder, and newly minted mom of four, Laura Modi shared her expert POV with Fast Company in honor of the two year anniversary of the shortage. In it, she breaks down how the US formula industry needs to change and raises the alarm that while congress may have forgotten about it, parents certainly haven't. Reforming this industry won't happen overnight, but as we always say, leave it to moms to get sh*t done. In just 18 months, we helped to get the Infant Formula Made in America Act from ideation to introduction alongside Representative Rosa DeLauro and Senator Bob Casey. It's the first tangible piece of progress towards helping to prevent future shortages. And this is just the beginning. We'll continue getting loud about this historic bill until it's officially passed into law. Stay tuned for how you can help us make that happen. In the meantime, read Laura's full piece in Fast Company here: https://lnkd.in/e9GiktUs

Last month, Charter released their first annual Charter 30: The Leaders, Thinkers, and Innovators Shaping the Future of Work and our very own Sarah Hardy was included. Alongside thought leaders ranging from Natalia E., a research economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, to Amy Edmondson, a professor of leadership and management at Harvard Business School, to Reshma Saujani, founder and CEO of Moms First — this list is no joke. "In addition to designing industry-leading parental leave policies for her baby-formula company, including 12 months of leave for new parents and 16 additional weeks of NICU leave for parents whose newborns spend time in the neonatal intensive care unit, Hardy has spearheaded campaigns to make the same kinds of policies available to all new parents." —Michelle Peng, writer for Charter Congrats, Sarah! We're so lucky to have you leading this work here at Bobbie 💚 Check out the full list below and read Sarah's profile here: https://lnkd.in/er2iEKM8
